"Every help matters": producer and businessman James Gavsie calls on the world to support Ukraine

"The whole world is watching what is happening in Ukraine. We see death and destruction in real-time. We see families breaking up – literally. We see that lives are being destroyed or at least changed forever. We are witnessing a beautiful and vibrant country on the battlefield,” said James Gavsie in his statement recorded at the WePlay Esports Arena L.A. in Los Angeles.

The producer noted that at the same time we are witnessing some of the greatest examples of heroism and humanity. The whole world sees the strength and spirit of the Ukrainian people. People in the United States, Canada, and the rest of the world are deeply moved by this war and want to help.

James shared a plan on how everyone can support Ukraine:

  • by making donations through a large charity;
  • by sharing posts on social networks telling what is happening to Ukrainians;
  • by talking about events in Ukraine so that you can be heard.

"It all helps. The facts speak for themselves. The first is that incredible people, heroes of Ukraine, will definitely survive. Second, Ukraine will win this war. Third, peaceful life will return to this wonderful country. But the most important thing is that the people, fighters, every hero of Ukraine now need our support more than ever. It's time for all of us to become more active. Do everything you can and show the world that now we are together with Ukraine as never before," said the producer.

It is worth noting that at the invitation of the NGO Techiia Foundation within the #StandwithUkraine initiative, videos in support of Ukraine were already recorded at the WePlay Esports Arena L.A. by model and writer Maye Musk, director Roland Emmerich, IT entrepreneur Andriy Komarovsky, Belgian Ambassador to the United States Gunther Sleeuwagen, car-sharing business owner Ivan Agapchev, influencer Anna Sherman and other well-known entrepreneurs and opinion leaders.

Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, the NGO Techiia Foundation has purchased and directed humanitarian aid to Ukrainian defenders and victims of war for over UAH 232 million ($8 million). These are protective gear, generators, drones, tactical clothing, equipment, and food for the people of Kyiv and the suburbs. You can support the NGO Techiia Foundation by the following link.
