Hospital of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine received cranial perforators
“Techiia Foundation” handed over 15 latest generation cranial perforators to the Main Military Medical Clinical Center of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. The cost of the equipment is UAH 284,000.
The center received 15 Meridian cranial perforators, as well as a set of 6 irrigation tubes and 30 diamond drills of various sizes. Each item is supplied in a disposable sterile version.
The main advantage of the new equipment is the unique head profile of the cranial perforators, which minimizes the risk of accidental dissection of the dura mater and significantly increases the procedure's safety.
“The professionalism and experience of our surgeons, together with the new perforators, take another step forward in the quality of our center's neurosurgery. With this equipment, the quality of operations is notably improved, their duration is significantly reduced, and intraoperative risks of intervention are minimized,” comments Denys Godlevskyi, head of the hospital department and doctor of the mobile field hospital.
The Main Military Medical Clinical Center of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine provides diagnostic, therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitation services to military personnel, veterans of military service, and employees of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. They always try to use innovative medical technologies, as well as diagnostic and therapeutic methods.
We would like to remind you that since 2019, the "Techiia Foundation," as part of the project "Get well soon!" has updated equipment in 19 hospitals in 14 cities of Ukraine for a total of 26.8 million UAH.
