Inside the “House of Butterflies” hospice in Chernivtsi

The Techiia Foundation Launches Comprehensive Support for the “House of Butterflies” Hospice at the City of Goodness Center in Chernivtsi.

In 2024, the Techiia Foundation began its cooperation with the City of Goodness center for mothers and children to strengthen support for their pediatric hospice, the House of Butterflies. This is a unique place where seriously ill children receive not only professional care but also warmth, peace, and the chance to live without pain. Our assistance focuses on addressing the hospice’s most critical needs — both for the team and for the young patients.

As part of the partnership, several key initiatives have been implemented:

• Purchase of 10 adjustable medical beds and 16 feeding tables, valued at UAH 2.4 million.
These new beds provide comfort for children with severe conditions and significantly ease the work of medical staff and caregivers.

• Medical consumables and a medicine refrigerator, totaling UAH 350,000.
This support has ensured a stable supply of essential medical items and proper storage conditions for vital medications.

• Monthly support for specialized nutrition and medications.
Starting from July 2025, the Foundation is providing regular funding exceeding UAH 1 million per month.
This ongoing assistance guarantees that children receive high-quality treatment and specialized nutrition tailored to their individual needs every day.

In total, the Techiia Foundation has already allocated over UAH 8 million to ensure that children at the House of Butterflies live in comfort and without pain, and that the hospice team has the resources to safeguard their dignity, peace, and quality of life.

We believe that care, dedication, and compassion can create true miracles. Together with the City of Goodness project, we strive to bring more light, warmth, and support into these children’s lives — every single day.
