Generator for a million: the NGO Techiia Foundation provided power for the SOF headquarters

The military unit of the Special Operations Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces received a generator with a capacity of 88 kW from the Techiia Foundation. The purchase price is UAH 960,000.

A Cummins C110 D5 diesel generator with a capacity of 88 kW will provide power to the headquarters and facilitate the work of special forces. Special operations forces are an individual type of armed forces involved in the planning and execution of key missions during the war waged by Russia against Ukraine. For example, SOF took an active part in the liberation of Zmiiny Island. But most of their operations, for obvious reasons, remain secret.

“The generator is not such a hype purchase as armored vehicles or attack drones, but it is no less useful for our defenders. The headquarters’ personnel says that with its help they will do many useful things to bring Ukraine closer to victory. And I am convinced this will be the case."

It is worth a reminder, that the amount of aid to the Defense Forces of Ukraine from the NGO Techiia Foundation exceeded $21.2 million. In addition, the Managing Partner of the TECHIIA holding Oleg Krot purchased almost $40 million worth of necessary items for the defenders of Ukraine. For security reasons and due to military secrecy, the details of these purchases are not disclosed.
