The 23-year-old defender of Ukraine received a bionic prosthesis from the Techia Foundation
23-year-old Bohdan from Ivano-Frankivsk met on February 24, 2022 while performing a combat mission in the Sumy region. During the reconnaissance operation, Bohdan was seriously wounded in a stretcher, his comrade died. Bohdan managed to survive only by a miracle.
The Techia Foundation, headed by the president of the organization Oleg Krot, decided to take care of Bohdan and provided assistance in the form of installing a modern bionic hand prosthesis.
"The bionic prosthesis made my life without a left arm much easier. I am very satisfied with the work of the masters who helped create this prosthesis," Bohdan says.
A military man dreams of helping wounded soldiers adapt after the war, providing them with moral and psychological support.
The process of adapting to the prosthesis was not easy, but Bohdan accepted all challenges with courage and determination. His example is an inspiration to all who face similar difficulties.
The Techia Foundation continues to systematically address the issue of prosthetics for military and civilians who have lost limbs during war, providing funding for expensive upper and lower limb prostheses.
