“Techiia Foundation” provides the military with stoves for heating
Units of 19 different brigades of the Defense Forces of Ukraine have already received more than 70 stoves, which help to heat military deployment points on the front lines. Volunteers make stoves to order by the Foundation in Kryvyi Rih.
The process of manufacturing and supplying the stoves began in mid-September last year. Volunteers in Kryvyi Rih first made several trial samples, field-tested them, calculated the optimal dimensions and parameters, and started mass production. Each stove was decorated with the coat of arms of Ukraine, a serial number, and the inscription "AFU."
“When designing the stoves, two key parameters were important to us: optimal dimensions for transportation and energy efficiency for heating and cooking by soldiers. According to the feedback of the military, we got it all right," says Oleksandr Ovseiko, a volunteer involved in the manufacture of stoves.
The Techiia Foundation took over the financing of materials and the delivery of stoves to military positions. As of January 25, more than 70 stoves were sent to the front. Units of nineteen brigades received them in accordance with requests: airborne, marines, territorial defense forces, air defense units, and mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"The effectiveness of the defenders of Ukraine depends on their experience, weapons, and also their terms of being. The ability to stay warm in cold weather and heat up food are basic things that are essential for the normal state of health and physical condition of defenders. Therefore, we helped establish the production of stoves, and we also deliver individual chemical heating pads to the soldiers," says Oleg Krot, director of the Techiia Foundation and managing partner of the TECHIIA holding.
We will remind you that recently the Techiia Foundation donated 13,000 individual chemical heating pads to the military. In general, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the amount of assistance to the Defense Forces of Ukraine from the Foundation has crossed the mark of $21.5 million. Separately, Oleg Krot allocated almost $40 million for the necessary equipment for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Details of these purchases can not be disclosed due to military secrecy.
