Special Beds for the Children's Hospice in Chernivtsi

The children's hospice operates within the "City of Good" shelter—the largest center in Ukraine for women and children facing difficult life circumstances. This facility provides care for orphans, children deprived of parental care, critically ill patients, and children evacuated from frontline regions.

"In the most challenging phases of illness, children can no longer stay at home, making it essential for the hospice to have everything necessary for their care. Our mission is to ensure that these children have the best possible conditions. That’s why we have equipped the hospice with functional electric beds that allow caregivers to adjust patients' positions effortlessly," stated the NGO "Techiia Foundation."

We have donated 10 modern multifunctional medical beds and 16 bedside tables to the facility. This equipment helps create comfortable conditions for palliative care, ensuring that children who cannot remain at home due to severe health conditions receive proper support.

"These are modern pediatric beds with electric adjustment, allowing for position, lifting, and lowering changes, helping caregivers reposition bedridden children. Such equipment significantly improves patients' quality of life and eases the work of medical staff," said Marta Levchenko, founder of "City of Good."

We are delighted that this support has allowed the hospice to expand its capacity. A new department will soon be opened, increasing the number of children receiving medical care to 60.
