Drones to Strengthen the Defense of Kharkiv Region

 

The Techiia Foundation, in partnership with the NGO Ukrainian Film and Television Entrepreneurs Union, led by Artem Koliubaiev, has delivered drones to the National Guard of Ukraine to enhance the defense of Kharkiv region. The "Burevii" and "Typhoon" brigades have received cutting-edge "Granite" drone systems, a testament to the continuous improvement of Ukrainian technology.

"Today, we are handing over two sets of 'Granite' unmanned aviation systems to the National Guard of Ukraine, specifically to the 'Burevii' and 'Typhoon' units operating in the Kharkiv direction. These drones are instrumental in halting the movement of enemy military equipment, destroying armored targets, and delivering strikes that help maintain the defensive line. These are now tenth-generation systems, with ongoing improvements. We believe they will serve our soldiers well and bring us closer to victory," emphasized Oleh Krot.

The "Granite" drones, known as combat bombers, have earned the nickname "Baba Yaga" among Russian forces due to the fear they instill. These drones leave no chance for the enemy's personnel or equipment. The total cost of the drones provided amounts to 7 million UAH.

Oleksandr Fedorets, call sign "Yenot," the commander of the strike aviation systems company in the "Kondor" battalion, highlighted the importance of continuously improving technology and training pilots:

"We see how rapidly drone warfare is evolving. Every day brings new innovations, and we must constantly learn to stay one step ahead of the enemy. The 'Granite' drones are the result of years of work by Ukrainian engineers. They are capable of performing a wide range of tasks, from reconnaissance to the destruction of enemy equipment."

The transfer of drones is part of a large-scale program aimed at enhancing the technological capabilities of the Ukrainian military. Collaboration between businesses, volunteers, and the armed forces enables the development of effective technological solutions that save the lives of our defenders and help maintain defensive positions.
