CT scan kits for pediatric patients in Kropyvnytskyi

The Techiia Foundation, co-founded by philanthropist Oleg Krot, has purchased and delivered 200 sets of essential consumables for pediatric CT examinations to the Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital. The procurement was carried out in partnership with the “Angel of Life” Charitable Foundation and will help ensure uninterrupted diagnostic services for young patients.

Each set includes a large syringe and two types of extension lines — components required for the safe and accurate administration of contrast agents during CT scans. One kit typically supports diagnostic procedures for two children. Therefore, the 200 purchased kits translate into 200 timely diagnostic opportunities that can directly influence treatment outcomes.

The total value of the procurement amounted to UAH 300,000. Despite the substantial cost, which would ordinarily require a prolonged fundraising effort, the Foundation responded promptly to the hospital’s urgent request and fully covered the need.

The Techiia Foundation emphasized that addressing critical pediatric medical needs remains one of its core priorities.

“These 200 CT kits are not merely consumables — they represent 200 chances for children to receive timely and accurate diagnostics. We are grateful to our partners at ‘Angel of Life’ for their trust and effective cooperation, and to the medical staff for their daily dedication,” the Foundation noted.

The “Angel of Life” Foundation highlighted that the support addresses an immediate and essential demand of the hospital.

“These kits are not supplies ‘for storage’ but a lifeline for two hundred children who need timely diagnostics. We are immensely grateful to the Techiia Foundation — you help quietly but at scale. Together, we create miracles, and today one of them became real,” their statement reads.

The hospital has confirmed the receipt of the aid and has already begun using the new kits as needed. This support will help prevent delays in diagnostics and reduce waiting times for young patients.
