Children's Clinical Hospital № 7 in Kyiv received new equipment from the NGO Techiia Foundation
The KRONOS B23 steam sterilizer and the QUICKSEAL sealing machine "Sverdla" were handed over by the NGO Techiia Foundation to the Children's Clinical Hospital No. 7 of the city of Kyiv. The full cost of the transferred equipment is UAH 388,000.
The new sterilizer allows hospital personnel to sterilize instruments, medical materials, and tissues. It is equipped with an autoclave that has a special mode for sterilizing infected instruments. In addition to that, the autoclave has no consumables except distilled water, so the cost of the sterilization cycle is minimal.
Together with the sterilizer, the Foundation also provided a sealing machine, which seals surgical instruments in hermetic bags and keeps the instruments sterile for a month. Moreover, such storage helps to save time in case of urgent interventions, because there is no need to sterilize the equipment immediately before the operation.
Children's Clinical Hospital No. 7 is one of the leading broad-based children's clinics in Ukraine. The hospital is equipped with modern diagnostic, laboratory, and surgical equipment. Every year, thousands of children receive treatment in this institution.
