Blood gas analyzer to Children’s hospital in Kropyvnytskyi

In partnership with “Angels of Life” fund we delivered to the Regional Children’s Hospital in Kropyvnytskyi a blood gas analyzer valued at nearly UAH 400,000.

This is a critically important device that enables doctors to obtain blood test results within just 60–90 seconds. It is used in intensive care units, operating rooms, and emergency departments, where every second can save a life.

The analyzer allows medical professionals to quickly assess a patient’s respiratory function, blood oxygen levels, overall condition, and vital body functions. It also measures glucose and electrolyte levels and helps detect life-threatening conditions in real time.

Importantly, the device is portable, allowing it to be used directly at the patient’s bedside or in the operating room. It can also function during power outages, which is especially crucial under current conditions.

“It takes less than a minute from blood sampling to results. Doctors can immediately understand how to act. This is a critically important device that will be used every day,” said Andrii Hutaryev, Head of the Anesthesiology Department with ICU beds.

Before receiving this equipment, doctors had to borrow similar devices from other medical institutions, which often resulted in the loss of precious time in emergency situations, becouse in critical cases, this directly affected children’s chances of survival.

The equipment was purchased by Techiia Foundation in response to a request from partners. According to volunteers, raising funds for such medical equipment locally is extremely challenging.

As part of this collaboration, we have already delivered equipment worth millions of hryvnias to the hospital and continue to support the healthcare system where it is needed most.
