Anti-drone nets for frontline defense
Together with our partners, we are actively working on providing Ukrainian soldiers with anti-drone nets. This is a new but crucial area of humanitarian work that will help protect Ukrainian fighters from enemy drones on the frontlines.
More than 10 shipments of nets have already been delivered to the frontline as part of a joint initiative with the charitable foundations "Battalion Volunteer" and the NGO "Union of Television and Film Industry Entrepreneurs," under the leadership of Artem Kolubaiev.
"We would like to thank the 'Techiіa Foundation,' the 'Union of Television and Film Industry Entrepreneurs,' and the 'Battalion Volunteer' for their hard work, well-coordinated logistics, and ongoing support for our Armed Forces. Thanks to our smooth cooperation, we are able to deliver essential materials and equipment to the frontline, including anti-drone nets that save the lives of our soldiers. This is a joint collaboration that demonstrates the scale of our efforts and the urgent need for protection from enemy drones. We will continue to work hard to support our defenders and do everything possible to ensure they receive timely assistance," said Ihor Bondarchuk, a representative of the "Battalion Volunteer" charity foundation.
In total, with the help of international partners from Denmark and the Netherlands, around 4,000 tons of nets and cables are planned to be delivered to Ukraine, which are used to counter enemy drones.
These nets are extremely important for our defenders as they help physically stop enemy drones, protecting both personnel and equipment. We thank our partners for supporting this critically important project,' the initiative organizers comment.
Since the beginning of the full-scale war, the Foundation’s team has been actively involved in assisting military personnel, civilians, and those affected in combat zones. Thanks to close cooperation with international partners, we continue to scale up our efforts, providing Ukrainian defenders with essential equipment, as the protection of the lives and health of Ukrainian soldiers remains our priority.
