Another batch of anti-drone nets delivered to the front

Techiia Foundation, in cooperation with its partners, has delivered another substantial batch of anti-drone nets to the front line — a critical protective tool against enemy unmanned aerial vehicles. The support is provided within the framework of the ongoing “Spiderweb” project, which unites civil society organizations, volunteers, and international partners to strengthen Ukraine’s defenders.

This time, the nets were transported from the south of France and successfully delivered to Ukrainian Armed Forces units. They will serve as a reliable physical barrier against FPV drones and other UAVs actively used by the enemy on the modern battlefield.

Anti-drone nets are installed above shelters, dugouts, military equipment, and logistical routes. They significantly reduce the risk of drone strikes by entangling UAV mechanisms or disrupting their ability to reach designated targets.

Project representatives emphasize that logistics — collecting, transporting, and delivering large-scale cargo from abroad — remains one of the most challenging yet crucial elements of the process.

“For us, it is important not only to deliver another batch of nets but to build a stable and sustainable support mechanism for the front line together with Ukrainian and international partners. War is a marathon, and our assistance must be systematic and continuous,” said Oleh Krot, philanthropist and co-founder of Techiia Foundation.

Organizers also note that feedback from military units already using the nets confirms their effectiveness and tangible impact in protecting both personnel and equipment.

The “Spiderweb” project has been operating for over a year, regularly supplying protective materials against drones to various frontline directions.
