Annual Report of NGO "Techiia Foundation" for 2024
In 2024, the NGO "Techiia Foundation" team focused on implementing important charitable programs and projects aimed at supporting Ukrainian servicemen, domestic medical institutions, and children. Below are the key results of our activities.
Project "Unstoppable"
Over UAH 9 million was allocated to the program for providing bionic prosthetics to servicemen who suffered injuries while defending Ukraine. As a result, 13 heroes received state-of-the-art bionic prostheses for upper and lower limbs, with some even returning to active duty. We are particularly proud of the story of 26-year-old Roman, who lost both arms up to his shoulders while saving a comrade and is now mastering his bionic limbs.
Support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine
We continue to focus on supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine, addressing the pressing challenges of the war. In partnership with other organizations, we have:
• Supplied the frontlines with cutting-edge UAV systems, which halt the movement of enemy equipment, destroy armored targets, and help maintain defense lines.
• Launched a program to provide Ukrainian servicemen with anti-drone nets, a new but critical initiative to protect troops from enemy UAVs on the frontlines.
• Renovated lecture halls at the National Defense University and procured modern training equipment for future military officers.
Project "Get Well Soon"
Under the long-standing "Get Well Soon" program, UAH 7.4 million was allocated, benefiting six medical institutions across Ukraine:
• Hospital in Kropyvnytskyi: Provided with a biochemical blood analyzer and special nutrition for critically ill children.
• Perinatal Center in Kyiv: Supplied with a monthly dose of NUMETA, a vital nutritional solution for premature infants with extremely low birth weight.
• Hospital in Eastern Ukraine: Equipped with a gynecological room for military wives, allowing them to receive essential healthcare locally without traveling to other regions.
• Neurosurgery Center in Uzhhorod: Delivered four modern stretchers with X-ray-transparent surfaces for safe patient transfer between departments across multiple floors.
• Heart Institute in Kyiv: Acquired a unique thoracic trainer system for advanced medical procedures.
• Children’s Hospice in Chernivtsi: Purchased 10 functional beds and 16 specialized feeding tables, ensuring comfort and modern care for children in critical conditions during their final days. This marks our first foray into hospice support, a significant new initiative for the foundation.
"Mobile Clinics"
We take pride in the success of the "Mobile Clinics" project, created in partnership with the "FORTITUDE.UA" fund to aid residents of de-occupied territories. These mobile medical units serve remote villages near Sumy, Kharkiv, and Kherson, providing medical assistance to those unable to reach traditional healthcare facilities. In 2025, we plan to expand the project's reach and acquire two additional ambulatory units for communities in Dnipro and Zaporizhzhia.
Eva Inclusion Center
Supporting children remains a priority for us. UAH 7.5 million was allocated to the operations of the Eva Inclusion Center, where 300 children with developmental disabilities from various regions of Ukraine received qualified specialist care in 2024. Each child arrives at the center with unique challenges, and thanks to the dedication of our professionals and ongoing support, they achieve progress once deemed impossible by other medical experts.
Additionally, we celebrated Children’s Day and Christmas by gifting children from families in difficult life circumstances.
Conclusion
2024 was another year of challenges and accomplishments for the NGO "Techiia Foundation." We continue to support our defenders, Ukrainian hospitals, and children while expanding the scope of our programs and projects. We thank everyone who contributes to our initiatives. Together, we are bringing Ukraine closer to victory and creating a future where everyone has the chance to live a dignified life, - President Oleg Krot.
